About UTI
Urinary tract infection (UTI) is an infection of any part of your urinary system. The disease is classified by the part of the urinary tract affected – acute pyelonephritis (kidneys), cystitis (bladder), and urethritis (urethra). Infections can be painful and annoying but are rarely a serious health threat unless the UTI spreads to the kidneys.

Symptoms
• strong, persistent urge to urinate
• burning sensation when urinating
• passing frequent, small amounts of urine
• cloudy urine
• red, bright pink, or cola-colored urine
• strong smelling urine
• pelvic pain (women)

Treatment
Urinary tract infections are treated with antibiotics. Which drug is prescribed depends your health condition and the type of bacteria found in your urine. Non-complicated cases typically resolve within a day or two of beginning treatment although the antibiotic course must be completed. A WellNow professional can quickly diagnose UTI and dispense your antibiotics onsite, avoiding hassles and accelerating your recovery time!
